MILITANTS BOMB NPDC PIPELINE


An obscure activist gathering in the Niger Delta district has purportedly exploded the Abura oil pipeline, a noteworthy oil trunk line worked by the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company around Osieta Avenue close Otu-Jeremi in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State. 

Our reporter assembled that the storage compartment line was purportedly shelled on Sunday at around 6.40am by the aggressors bringing on a genuine shoot flare-up in the region. 


The incident happened a kilometer close to the West African greatest Otorogu Gas Plant, at Otu-Jeremi, Iwhrekan and Otor-Udu people group crosswise over Ughelli South and Udu chamber regions of the state.

A military source, who later confirmed the incident, said no culprit had been arrested in connection with the attack although investigation had commenced.
No militant group, including the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate and the Niger Delta Avengers, has claimed responsibility for Sunday’s attack on the oil facility.
