Soldiers Beat Man Mercilessly For Refusing To Help Them Fetch Water In Benue (Photo)

A Nigerian man identified as Matthews Emberga-Biem got brutalized by a few Soldiers in Benue state for supposedly declining to enable them to get water from a stream today. 

As per Aper Zava who shared the story, Mr. Matthew who is an educator - was heading to class when the power plastered officers ceased him.

Naka town is the headquarter of Gwer-west L.GA in Benue State, around 40 km from Makurdi, the Benue State capital. There is a military post as you are going to enter the town from Makurdi. Soldiers became stationed there in 2014 when armed Fulani herders blocked the Makurdi – Naka street for a while, shooting and slaughtering anyone that challenged to handle the street. It was the soldiers who chased away the armed Fulani herders from the street making it ok for individuals to pass. 

In any case, the soldiers did not come back to their military enclosure in the wake of retaking the street from the furnished Fulani herders. They positioned at a left grade school at Tse Orbiam town at the edges of Naka town along the Makurdi - Naka street. 

This military post has stayed to date. 

As far back as their landing, officers from this military post have been a genuine pain in the asses of inhabitants of Naka. What they do is attack young fellows. I have heard exceptionally corrupt stories of how these officers maul individuals every day so much that it is presently difficult to recognize them from knaves. 

Their current casualty is my friend Matthews Emberga-Biem II. He teaches at Mount La Salle College Naka. Toward the beginning of today, as I was hurrying to go for his morning lessons, these troopers stopped him at a stream near the school entryway and requested him to bring water for them. He declined, and disclosed to them that he was hurrying to go for his lessons. This was sufficient reason for the officers to beat him so badly, as should be seen in the above picture.
