GHANIAN MAN ARRESTED FOR SELLING PACKAGED RICE AS IPHONE IN CANADA

A Canadian man of Ghanaian origin has been arrested for duping two customers by pitching packaged rice to them as an iPhone.

Andrew Boateng Gyimah was arrested in Toronto, Canada after police got reports of his trick from two people. As indicated by Canadian authorities, Andrew met with one of his casualties in a region of Islington Avenue after the casualty had seen an advert he put on the web.

At that point he gave the casualty a box in which he said contained the iPhone 6. Well, when the casualty opened the box, all he found was grains of rice.

Someone else came forward before this to report that he had fallen for a similar trick by Andrew Gyimah. Andrew is currently facing two charges of fraud under $5,000, two counts of false pretense under $5,000, and two counts of breaking a court order.
