DORTMUND APPOINTS NEW COACH AFTER TUCHEL SACK

German Side Borussia Dortmund Appoints Ex Ajax Coach, Peter Bosz As New Manager

Borussia Dortmund have appointed Peter Bosz as their new head coach.
The announcement came one week after the departure of Thomas Tuchel.
Bosz, 53, led Ajax to the Europa League final against Manchester United which the latter won.
Borussia Dortmund had made Nice coach Lucien Favre their top target for the position but the French club ruled out his departure.

Bosz, who joined Ajax last summer after a short spell with Maccabi Tel Aviv, was then considered.
His contract will last until 2019, according to ESPN.
Fluent in German language, the new coach will be the second Dutchman to take charge at Dortmund after Bert van Marwijk, who coached the club as they battled bankruptcy in the mid-2000s.
Speaking, Borussia Dortmund Chief executive, Hans-Joachim Watzke said: “We held a lot of talks in recent days. Once we started talking to Peter Bosz we had a very positive feeling from the outset.
