A 48-year old lady, Mrs Onyekachi Chukwu on Wednesday dumped in a jail guardianship after she went to the police to remain as surety for her better half, Francis Chukwu who have surrendered her and their six youngsters and fled. 

P.M.EXPRESS assembled that Mrs Onyekachi inconvenience began after her better half, Francis Chukwu was captured for carrying out a criminal offense and was confined by the police at Area M Police Command, Idimu. 

Enugu State-conceived Francis purportedly acquired some cash from Raphael Chimaobi Ndunagu under the misrepresentation and got away. 

The matter was accounted for to the police who trailed and in the end captured and confined him at the station. Onyekachi, the spouse went to the police and requested that the police discharge him to her and she remained as surety. She guaranteed to bring her at whatever time the police requesting that he do as such.

At the Isolo Magistrate's court where she was charged, she argued not blameworthy. The managing Magistrate, Mrs J.O Adedayo allowed her safeguard in the total of N200,000 with one surety. 

She was remanded in jail care pending when she will consummate her safeguard condition. The matter was suspended till 9 February 2016.
